Hal, do you really think Colt McCoy is going to play this year; and if so, is he going to be productive right off the bat? I have my doubts, but I know one thing, Jake Delhomme is not going to lead the Browns to the promised land. I think you're a little optimistic for this year. I love Holmgren, though, and in time, I think he will get the team turned around. I'm just not sure they are ripe enough yet.

GM Holmgren and Colt Mccoy will surprise most in the league this year. I see Cleveland winning a lot of games and making the playoffs. I also see the the Dolphins making the playoffs, I don't see Tony Romo who grew up 30 miles north of me playing that well again in the playoffs. I still love Tony thou. I wish I had more time to write

I had not thought of contacting Buffalo Wild Wings; it's a good idea. I'm still working out a few kinks with the site, but I'm ready to take the show on the road this week with my first training camp. I appreciate the supportive comments; gives me the incentive to keep plugging.

Essentially the NFL commissioner wanted more revenue coming in and this was a great forum to launch this back in 2006.

I wonder if the editor of PigskinLipstick has pitched an idea like Pigskinlipstick for the National chain Buffalo Wild Wings to target the female customers on big screens TV?

I am very impressed with this site. I like the knowledge of the sport posted. Keep up the great work Margaret : )

Hi, Lily,

I understand some teams are already doing this. I know the Panthers have a couple of Football 101 sessions early in the season, so you might contact them to see how they do it. Football is a complicated sport, and one of the challenges is deciding how fundamental your classes need to be. I have thought about getting a few players together and doing some videos to demonstrate some things like "what is holding?" Really, every play looks like holding to me, so why do some get called and others don't? I would love to get involved in what you are doing somehow. I would be happy to promote it on my site.

Margaret,

I just discovered your site and think its great. I actually represent/manage to WR's currently in the NFL. In the last 9 years of doing so, I have been asked by many women about my knowledge of the game. It seems that so many women are missing out on so much fun, so I have finally decided to recruit some professional players and we are currently putting together a football 101 class for women in all football cities!! Any suggestions?!

Hello,
My husband recently completed a journey to attend a game in every NFL stadium as a fan of the home team and I accompanied him on many of these trips (www.nflfootballstadiums.com). We’re obviously huge football fans, but we’re also big time fantasy football players.

For the last several years, our website, FantasyFootballManifesto.com has been selling an incredibly effective fantasy football cheat sheet online to guide both novice and expert fantasy football players through the rigors of drafting their fantasy team. We’ve found that female fantasy players in particular have experienced a lot of success using our system and we believe more and more women would play fantasy sports if they had a simple to use system that puts them on par with their male counterparts. I personally relish the opportunity to beat them at their own game.

Novice fantasy players using our cheat sheets find comfort in the ability to make solid picks throughout the draft without having to do any research on their own and more seasoned veterans tend to use our system to assist them in the formulation of their own draft strategies. What sets our system apart from most others is that the cheat sheets themselves are a living document that's periodically updated throughout the NFL offseason right until the start of the regular season. Each time NFL players are traded, injured or lose their starting spot on an NFL roster, these updates are sent out.

The reason I'm writing is because I was wondering if you might consider selling our cheat sheet subscription service through your site … if you think it’s a good fit. The subscription costs our customers $7.99 and for each sale generated though your website, you will receive a $2.00 commission. All sales are individually tracked and commissions are paid on a monthly basis. Sales of this cheat sheet will easily outperform any Google Adsense modules you may be currently running and you'll only need to post our ads on your site for about three and a half months. Everything you will need to begin selling the cheat sheets can be found on our website, including more information on the cheat sheets themselves. Everything can be found at - http://www.fantasyfootballmanifesto.com/FFManifesto-Ads.htm. If you're interested in writing a blog post or article about my system, we’d be happy to answer any questions you might have. Customer testimonials are also available on the site.

Thanks Very Much,

Crystal Steiniger
